So on Saturday I went to the Spice Girls concert with Taylor. It brought back memories of our child hood sitting on the swing sets listening to the Spice Girls.....

Happy Valentine's Day To Me

Well Jarrod got me a puppy for Valentines day. His name is Sakari Sherman Tank- Tank for short. He hasn't come home yet to the Debbie. She doesn't like him but once she see this pictures she won't be able to resist his cuteness. He is 9 weeks old and is a shi-mo which is a cross between a shi-tzu and an american eskimo he will get to be about 20 lbs. He's very fluffy. I'm working on training him now but he wants nothing to do with it. I'll take more pictures sometime when he is awake.

Weekend Getaway to Chicago

So Jarrod is finally home yay! Ever since he has been gone we have been planning a trip to Chicago. So on Friday Me, Jarrod, his sister Allison, and her friend Jen left for Chicago. We were all very excited for the Cheesecake factory and I was equally excited for the container store (I saw it on Oprah)

Anyway We really didn't get much shopping done because it was sooo cold. Below Zero. My legs were numb from walking just a little. When I go back I'm definitely going in the summer.

So we left Chicago on Sunday and we were getting pretty hungry so the GPS Pam navigated us way out of the way for food. After food we had to take some backroads and Jarrod as usual was speeding so of course we got pulled over. (Time 3:00pm) The cop was pretty nice and reduced the ticket to not wearing a seatbelt so that his insurance didn't go up. So we drove some more and were wondering what would happen if we got pulled over again. Would the cop be able to tell you just got pulled over? Well we found out! So were driving down the highway and Jarrod is going so slow semis are passing us. We see a cop and we pass him and he pulls out.(Time 3:40) Were like ha the cop is going to get those speeders! Nope he pulls us over. Jarrod was angry. But why did he pull us over ...No blinker when changing lanes apparently. I Was laughing becasue I thought it was funny. Jarrod did not. However, we only got a warning. So the moral is you can get pulled over twice in one day and the cop won't know you hust got pulled over.

Overall the vacation was super fun and educational. I learned that Matt does not look good in a bra, people in Mexico really can't drive, and that the toilet water on the boat is most likely freshwater.

For a surprise for my moms birthday we all went to my Aunt Karens house to take some family pictures. Although it was supposed to be a surpise Cori can't keep a secret to save her life so my mom ended up finding out the same day. These are just some of our pictures.

Gingerbread Fun!

So today I decided to make gingerbread houses with the kids. We took a trip to Walmart which was overly crowded. Let me tell you it was really fun trying to keep Elijah from standing and jumping off the cart and also at the same time keep Gabriel's hands in the cart (he would either end up hitting people or grab candy off the shelf). However I did have Cori with me. Not sure how much help a kid on crutches can be in a crowded store though. However, we were successful... and made it out alive!

Back at the house I got everything ready to make the Gingerbread houses. Elijah was pretty entertained with eating the frosting.
I was trying to help Gabe with his house but for some reason Elijahs house turned out better than ours!
He's only smiling becasue I'm doing all the work and he's eating all the gram crackers!

Trick-or-Treat

This is Cori and her friend Bridgette. Cori had a whole bunch of friends over to go trick-or-treating.
I took the boys trick-or-treating and we made it down my block and they were already tired. At every house we went to instead of Gabriel saying trick-or-treat he would tell them he was a dinosaur. After he would get his candy he would say have fun! It was so cute.
For just walking down the block the boys ended up with more candy than my sister. I don't know how they managed to do that. We also saw a lot of spidermans that night and every single one we say felt the need to talk to Elijah. Maybe there is some spiderman bond that I just can't understand. There was also this little girl that kept wanting to talk to Gabe. However, gabe wanted nothing to do with her and was annoyed that she kept trying to talk to him.
