So today I decided to make gingerbread houses with the kids. We took a trip to Walmart which was overly crowded. Let me tell you it was really fun trying to keep Elijah from standing and jumping off the cart and also at the same time keep Gabriel's hands in the cart (he would either end up hitting people or grab candy off the shelf). However I did have Cori with me. Not sure how much help a kid on crutches can be in a crowded store though. However, we were successful... and made it out alive!
Back at the house I got everything ready to make the Gingerbread houses. Elijah was pretty entertained with eating the frosting.
I was trying to help Gabe with his house but for some reason Elijahs house turned out better than ours!
He's only smiling becasue I'm doing all the work and he's eating all the gram crackers!
Elijah hard at work building his house
Going for the candy! I think he ate more candy then he put on his house and trust me there was A LOT on his house
The kids hard at work on their houses

Overall it was a fun time and it wasn't even that messy :)
