Week With the Boys

This week I had the boys for four days. Gabriel and Elijah both had baseball games.

We decided to take the boys camping for two nights.

4th of July Weekend

We headed back to Muskegon for 4th of July weekend. Their Summer Celebration festival was going on so there were a lot of concerts and things to do at night.

Happy Birthday!

Justin turned 20 last week so Kristin and I had some of our friends up to visit along with some of Justin's friends for his birthday.

Day at South Haven

Yesterday Kristin, Justin, and I drove down to South Haven to look at apartments for next semester. Afterwards we decided to drive the five minutes to the beach and walk the pier to the lighthouse.

The Latest and Greatest

So Tankys life has been sad with out me. Every time I see a little dog it makes me miss his little face. This is the latest and greatest of Tankys pictures from my last journey home. I took several pictures of Tank which he posed for perfectly with a different expression for each one. I did try to take a picture with bosco, however, tank would not have it. He actually attacked me throughout the process of taking pictures of bosco by pawing and clawing my arm so I could not keep the camera still. What a smart little dog :) I then went on to take more pictures of Tank, which he posed for and enjoyed every second of it. What a little camera hog!!

On St. Pattys day Kristin and I went to our friend Laura's house for a BBQ.

These are the amazing cup cakes I made before the cook out. I actually baked and frosted them in one hour so I was pretty proud of that accomplishment. I made them so fast that they had no time to cool and the frosting was melting off. Frosting was everywhere including on me as I ran out the door to get on the bus for class. I had no time to look in the mirror so as I sat on the bus I touched my forehead realizing I somehow managed to get frosting on my head. So attractive!

This is before work a few mornings ago. I actually really enjoy working there. It's a good job for me and very fast paced so I never get bored!

It's been a while..

So I decided it was time for me to post since it's been quite a while. I had my spring break last weekend so I got to go home for a week and visit Tanky and of course the Fam.

I started a new job at a plasma donation center and am very excited about it! My first day was actually today, and so far I think i will like it. I also started taking a self defense class with Kristin and so now maybe one day I can beat Eric up :)

I also got to visit Gabe and Elijah. I picked them both up from school the one day and while me and Gabe were waiting for Elijah we decided to take some pictures!

Cori and I also started de-wallpapering her bedroom. It wasn't very successful..after three long hours this is all we got off.

Tanky is growing up!

So it's almost been a year since I brought home this adorable face.

As he grew his ears actually began to stand up. For a while one ear was pretty floppy though.

Over the past year Tank took a dog obedience class and passed! He has a certificate and everything. He is still working on listening but he gets better every day. Tank does still think that sit means come, but that is not his fault. Tanky is now going on to do bigger and better things and is going to pursue his career as a model.

In his spare time Bosco enjoys barking and/or growling at Tank and sleeping. He also enjoys giving the friendly hello let me lick your face/hand/leg like a cow.

Happy New Year!

Obviously this post is a little late...OK a lot late but anyway the holidays went by well. Christmas was good I got a camera so now I can keep up on my blogging while I'm away and I also got a global positioning system which has definitely come in handy because I am always getting lost in Kalamazoo. I went to Andrews house for New Years Eve with Kristin and Dan, and some of Andrews friends. It was really fun and there was a lot of food which was amazing because I love to eat.

I also have completely moved into my apartment. I live with Kristin and two other girls but we all have our own bedrooms and bathrooms which is really nice. School has been going well, but I am still looking for a job at a hospital or babysitting.

Lights Before Christmas

So a couple of weekends ago Kristin, her boyfriend Dan, Katie, her boyfriend Paul, and Me, and my boyfriend Andrew went to the Toledo Zoo to see the lights before Christmas. It was really cold but it was still fun.

So as you know Andrew is the new boyfriend. Kristin actually introduced us back in October. Her and Andrew are lab partners in chemistry and that's how they met. Andrew is also a nursing major.
